Accor points value in India: What 1 ALL point is really worth (2026)

Accor points value in India: 1 ALL point is worth about ₹2.1

Checked against ALL Accor’s terms, October 2026.

Most hotel points are a bit of a guessing game. A Marriott point can be worth 50 paise at one hotel and over a rupee at the next, depending on the date you pick.

Accor doesn’t play that game. The Accor points value is fixed: every 2,000 points takes €40 off your bill, at any Accor hotel, on any night of the year. At today’s exchange rate, that’s roughly ₹2.1 a point.

So why does half of Reddit say Accor points are worth less than a rupee? Fair question. Turns out they’re both right, in their own way. Below, we’ve done the maths to show where the value slips, and how you can hang on to the full ₹2.1.

Accor points value in INR: 2,000 points equal €40 or about ₹4,250

Key takeaways

1 Accor point = €0.02, or about ₹2.1. So 2,000 points knock roughly ₹4,250 off your stay.

You only get the full ₹2.1 when Accor’s own rate is the best rate. If the same room is cheaper on a booking site, each point is worth less.

Most Indian card points turn into about ₹1.06 at Accor. HDFC Infinia, Axis Atlas and SBI cards all transfer at 2:1.

Qatar Airways is the one airline transfer worth a look. 2,000 Accor points become 1,500 Avios, and Qatar is adding a 15% to 35% bonus until 31 October 2026.

Points expire after 12 months without earning activity. A small transfer from your credit card resets the clock.

Accor points value table: 1,000 to 1,00,000 points in rupees

Here’s what common balances are worth. We’ve used €1 = ₹106.28, the rate on 23 October 2026.

Two small things to keep in mind.

Points come off in blocks of 2,000. If you have 5,000, you can put 4,000 towards a stay and the other 1,000 stay in your account for next time.

And Accor fixes the value in euros, not rupees. When the euro gets stronger, your points are worth a little more in rupees. When it weakens, a little less.

Is ₹2 a point real? When the value drops

Why the value is fixed

Accor treats your points like money in a wallet. 2,000 points means €40 off the bill. It doesn’t matter which hotel, which room or which weekend you book.

There’s no award chart and there are no blackout dates. You won’t see a “points price” that doubles over Diwali either. Very few hotel programmes work this way, which is a big part of why Indian cardholders love Accor.

Why some people say ₹0.9

If you’ve read the Reddit and TechnoFino threads, you’ll have seen people put Accor closer to 90 paise a point. That number usually comes from two things stacking up.

The rate you pay with points. Points only work on bookings made directly with Accor, so you’re always paying Accor’s price. Now say a booking site has the same room for ₹1,500 less. That ₹1,500 is value your points just didn’t give you.

The transfer ratio from your card. Most Indian cards send points to Accor at 2:1. One HDFC Infinia point becomes half an Accor point, which is worth about ₹1.06. Add a slightly pricier Accor rate on top of that, and you land close to ₹0.9.

So nobody is wrong here. ₹2.1 is what an Accor point is worth. ₹0.9 is roughly what some people end up getting for a credit card point after both of those gaps.

A worked example

Picture a one-night stay at a Novotel in Mumbai. (We’ve kept the prices round to make the maths easy, so do check live rates for your dates.)

  • Accor member rate: ₹10,500
  • Same room on a booking site: ₹9,000

You’d use 4,000 points, which takes ₹8,503 off, and put the remaining ₹1,997 on your card. The booking site wanted ₹9,000 for that room, so what you really saved is ₹7,003. Divide it by 4,000 points and you’re at roughly ₹1.75 each.

Now say Accor’s member rate was ₹9,000 too. You’d pay 4,000 points and just ₹497 in cash. Your saving goes up to ₹8,503, which is the full ₹2.13 a point.

Same hotel, same night. The only thing that changed was the price you compared against.

How the hotel rate changes the value of Accor points

Getting the full ₹2.1 out of every point

  • Before redeeming, pull up the same dates on one or two booking sites.
  • Use points where Accor’s member rate is the lowest price you can find. Pay cash for the rest.
  • Remember that points can’t pay for more than the bill, so they work best on stays you’d book anyway.

Accor points calculator: Earn and burn maths

You don’t need a separate Accor points calculator. Two simple formulas cover it.

How many points you earn per stay

At most Accor hotels, Classic members earn 25 Reward points for every €10 spent on the room (before tax). At ibis, ibis Styles and Mama Shelter, it’s 12.5 points. Higher status adds more: Silver gets 24% extra, Gold 48%, Platinum 76% and Diamond 100%.

Points earned = room rate in euros ÷ 10 × 25

Take a Novotel night costing ₹10,630, which is about €100. That earns you 250 points, worth roughly ₹530. In other words, you get about 5% of the room rate back, before any card rewards.

How many points you need for a stay

Points needed = room price in euros ÷ 40 × 2,000

Since points go in 2,000 chunks, round down and cover the gap with cash. A ₹15,000 room, for example, is roughly €141. That’s three full blocks: 6,000 points take €120 (₹12,754) off, and you pay ₹2,246 on top.

What your card points are worth at Accor

This is where your card really matters. Same Accor point, very different starting price. Here’s what one credit card point turns into once you move it over, at ₹2.13 per Accor point.

If you hold an HDFC Infinia, ₹1.06 is about what you’d get by using the same points on flights through SmartBuy. So Accor is a good option for Infinia points, not a magic one. Axis brought Accor back as a partner in September 2026 after removing it in April, and the new ratios are lower on most cards. We’ve covered every change in our Axis Bank transfer partners update.

Best use of Accor points

Every Accor point is worth the same, wherever you use it. So the best use of Accor points is really about the stay itself. Here’s where they work well:

Stays where Accor is the cheapest price

Member rates on Accor’s site are often the lowest price going, though not always. When they are, every point gives you the full ₹2.1. A quick comparison takes two minutes and is worth doing every time.

Part points, part cash

You don’t need to cover the whole bill. Put 2,000 or 4,000 points towards a stay and pay the rest by card. You save the points value now and still earn card rewards on the cash part.

Hotels in expensive cities

Paris, London, Singapore or Dubai in peak season can cost ₹25,000 a night or more. Your points save the same ₹2.1 each there as anywhere else, but they cover a bigger bill, so you don’t need to dip into savings for the trip.

Accor Plus offers

Every now and then, Accor lets Indian members pay for an Accor Plus membership with points instead of cash. The last offer we saw priced it at 7,500 points. It’s not always on, but if you were going to buy the membership anyway, keep an eye out.

How to transfer Accor points

People who search for this usually mean one of three things: moving card points into Accor, moving Accor points out to an airline, or moving them to someone else. Here’s each one.

Indian credit cards that transfer to Accor

You’ll find the Accor transfer option in your bank’s rewards portal:

  • HDFC: SmartBuy, under Miles Transfer. Infinia can move up to 1,50,000 points a month and Diners Club Black up to 75,000, in multiples of 1,000.
  • Axis: Travel EDGE. Accor sits in Group A, so it shares your smaller yearly cap with airlines like KrisFlyer and Qatar.
  • HSBC: the HSBC India app, at 1:1 on TravelOne and Premier.

Transfers usually land within 1 to 7 working days and can’t be reversed. So only move points when you have a stay in mind. Our full guide on credit card points transfer walks through each bank step by step.

Transferring Accor points to airlines

Accor lets you convert points to around 30 airline programmes. Sounds great, right? The trouble is that most of them work out poorly:

  • Most airlines: 4,000 Accor points for 2,000 miles. That’s ₹8,500 of hotel value for 2,000 miles, which is rarely a good trade.
  • Qatar Airways Privilege Club: 2,000 Accor points for 1,500 Avios. This is the best airline route Accor has.
  • IndiGo BluChip: 3,000 Accor points for 2,000 BluChips. That’s about ₹6,380 of Accor value for BluChips worth roughly ₹850, so skip it.

Qatar is the one to know. It’s handy when you’re a few thousand Avios short of a Qatar or British Airways award. And until 31 October 2026, Qatar is adding a 15% bonus on conversions from Accor (25% if you get 50,000+ Avios in one go, 35% at 1,00,000+). That makes 2,000 Accor points worth 1,725 Avios (here’s what an Avios is worth in rupees).

Conversions can take up to six weeks and can’t be undone, so don’t leave it to the last minute before you book.

Accor points to Qatar Avios transfer ratio

Moving Avios back into Accor

It works the other way too. 3,500 Qatar Avios become 1,000 Accor points. On a normal day, that’s not great value: you give up 3,500 Avios for about ₹2,126 off a hotel bill.

Qatar does run 30% bonuses on this route from time to time (the last one was in February 2026), which turns 3,500 Avios into 1,300 Accor points. If you only need a few hundred points to complete a 2,000 block, wait for one of those.

Transferring Accor points to family

Sadly, no. On a regular ALL account, you can’t move points to another member, so your partner or parents can’t top up your balance. Accor does allow it on ALL Signature Absolute, a paid subscription that started in Brazil. But it costs over €1,000 a year, so it only makes sense if you’d use everything else it gives you.

Can Accor points go to ITC?

No. There’s no transfer between ALL Accor and Club ITC. ITC was also removed as an Axis partner in September 2026.

Accor points expiry: How to keep them alive

Accor points stay valid as long as you have some earning activity in your account at least once every 12 months. Go a full year without earning a single point, and the whole balance expires.

The good news? Keeping them alive is easy, and it doesn’t have to cost you anything extra:

  • Transfer a few card points in. 1,000 HDFC points become 500 Accor points, and that counts as activity.
  • Take one short stay. Even a single night at an ibis resets the clock.
  • Earn through a partner. Accor has shopping and travel partners that credit points too.

Don’t mix up Reward points with Status points. Status points decide your tier and reset every 31 December. Reward points are the ones you spend, and they follow the 12-month rule.

If your points have already expired, write to Accor’s customer service as soon as you notice. Some members have had them restored, but Accor doesn’t have to do it.

Where your value quietly leaks

  • Paying with points on a pricier Accor rate. If the booking site is ₹1,500 cheaper, your points lose that much value. Compare first.
  • Sending points to most airlines. At 4,000 points for 2,000 miles, you give up ₹8,500 of hotel value. Stick to Qatar.
  • Leaving half-used blocks. Points come off in 2,000s, so a 5,000 balance only covers 4,000. Top up to the next block before you book.
  • Letting points expire. One small transfer a year is all it takes to keep them.
  • Moving card points before checking the ratio. On an Axis Magnus, Accor works out to about ₹0.43 a point. Another partner might give you far more.

The value comes from ALL Accor’s own terms: 2,000 Reward points = €40 off a stay. We converted it at €1 = ₹106.28 (23 October 2026). Transfer ratios are from Accor’s partner pages and each bank’s transfer terms, checked in October 2026.

Something like this works: “PointsFly estimates that one ALL Accor point is worth about ₹2.1 in India, and an HDFC Infinia point transferred to Accor is worth about ₹1.06.”

All we ask is a link back. We update these numbers whenever Accor or the banks change their rates.

FAQs

How much is 1,000 Accor points worth in INR?

At October 2026 rates, 1,000 Accor points come to €20, so roughly ₹2,126. There’s a catch, though. Accor only lets you redeem in 2,000-point blocks, so you’ll need to collect another 1,000 first.

How much are 10,000 Accor points worth?

Around ₹21,257, since 10,000 points equal €200. That’s enough to cover a night or two at a good Novotel or Pullman in most Indian cities.

Which partners can Accor points be transferred to?

You can convert Accor points to around 30 airlines, including Qatar Airways, British Airways, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Air India and IndiGo. Most convert at 4,000 points for 2,000 miles. Qatar Airways is the best of them at 2,000 points for 1,500 Avios.

Can I transfer Accor points to family?

Not on a regular account. Accor only allows transfers between members on ALL Signature Absolute, a paid plan that costs over €1,000 a year.

Do Accor points expire?

Yes. Accor points expire if you have no earning activity for 12 months. A stay, a partner purchase or even a small transfer from your credit card keeps them valid for another year.

Which credit card is best for Accor points in India?

On transfer ratio alone, the Axis Olympus (1:2) and HSBC TravelOne and Premier (1:1) give you the most Accor points per card point. Among the more common cards, HDFC Infinia, Diners Club Black and Axis Atlas transfer at 2:1, which works out to about ₹1.06 per card point.
